Proof that Uni really is the time to get back into doing the things that you love! Grace will be the OUSRC Secretary for 2023-2024.

After taking a break from competitive squash during her undergraduate studies, Anvita returned to the sport again after joining Oxford for her masters.

Hi, I’m Aria! I’m a second year medical student at LMH. I’ve been playing squash since I was very young, and I have absolutely loved continuing my squash journey playing at Oxford with an amazing team of people. I can’t wait to be W1 captain and make new squash memories!

Hi everyone I’m Yusuf. Im going into my second year of Medicine and can’t wait to captain the men’s 2s this year. Squash has been a huge part of my life since I was young and have really enjoyed playing for the Uni last year. Let’s hope this year brings another Varsity victory!

Hey! I’m Jia Xin, a 2nd year medic at Univ, and I am very excited to be captaining the women’s 2s this year. I played squash for a year in secondary school and have picked it back up since starting uni. I'm hoping to have a great season filled with lots of fun and, hopefully, plenty of wins too!

I am continuing the role of social secretary, as well as taking on the role of IT Officer this year. Outside of squash, I enjoy pubbing and clubbing, making me well qualified for my social sec role!

I’m passionate about the representation of minority identities in the sport and am always available for a chat :))

Martin Packman, Staff Team Captain

I've been captain of one or other of the Oxford Uni teams in the Oxfordshire leagues for the last five years. Our teams have always had a mix of staff, alumni, students, and randoms like me playing - but since the squash shutdown period (and the University Club still not fully reopening...) we've combined with OURSC in one super club! Outside of squash I write code to build and explore maps of complex systems for large organisations, run a bit, and play boardgames.
